Daniel Loeb, a billionaire activist investor of Walt Disney, announced he has changed his mind in pushing the company to sell ESPN

The founder of Third Point, who owns a stake of around $1 billion in Disney, had earlier this year asked the company to make some major changes, including selling the sports channel.


Loeb tweeted Sunday that he has a better understanding, of the value of ESPN, after Disney CEO Bob Chapek said at this weekend's D23 Expo that the company had plans for the channel to play a large part of the company's entertainment offerings
